Laboratory of Solid State Physics

The study of the nonequilibrium dynamical processes and phase transitions in solids is the theme of the scientific investigations in the laboratory of solid state physics. The investigations include the theoretical and experimental studies of structure and dynamics of solids, phase transitions, electrical, magnetic and optical properties of solids: diamagnetics, semiconductors, ferromagnetics and ferroelectrics.
The investigations include: the development of the theory of phase transitions in ferroelectric and ferromagnetic substances with the complex structure and with the potentials of interaction between the particles of different radius of action;  the calculations of the thermodynamical functions of crystals; the development of theoretical models for the explanation of the anomaly in the ferroelectric properties.
The investigations include also the multiparticle problems of physics of solid state magnetic resonance:  the phenomenon of the spin echoes in NMR and EPR; the phenomenon of nonstationary nutation in EPR; the physical bases of multiphoton EPR of spectroscopy; the methods for the creation of the multiquantum states in the spin systems; the microscopic mechanism of the relaxation processes in solid state NMR; the new experimental methods of magnetic radiospectroscopy.
